Glenn N. Pomerance, M.D. is the founder, medical director and chief surgeon of Pomerance Eye Center, P.C.
Glenn N. Pomerance, M.D.
Dr. Glenn Pomerance received his undergraduate degree from
Bard College in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and his medical degree from the College
of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York. He completed
his internship and residency in ophthalmology at the Walter Reed Army Medical
Center where he was appointed Chief Resident. Before entering private practice,
he was the staff ophthalmologist for Martin Army Hospital in Fort Benning, GA.
He served as a Fellow of the International Eye Foundation in Lima,Peru, and has received
the Alcon Centurion Award for Excellence in Lasik Outcomes. He is an active member of major medical and ophthalmology societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract
and Refractive Surgeons, The American College of Eye Surgeons, the International
Society of Refractive Surgery and the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, for which
he served as a member of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Pomerance enjoys teaching and has been on the Adjunct Teaching Faculties
of Emory University College of Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School and East Tennessee State University College of Medicine. He is on Senior Staff at ParkRidge Medical Center, Memorial Hospital and Erlanger Medical Center.
Michelle Y. Robison, M.D.
Dr. Michelle Robison received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry at the University of Georgia. She graduated from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, and after receiving her M.D. went on to complete her internship and ophthalmology residency training at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Robison completed additional fellowship training in Glaucoma at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. She is a board certified ophthalmologist and an active member of several medical societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology. She currently provides complete medical, laser, and surgical care for glaucoma patients and is also a highly experienced cataract surgeon.
Gene K. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Gene Lee graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He received his M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine and completed his internship at Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colorado. He returned to Atlanta to complete his ophthalmology residency at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Lee performs cataract surgery, removal of eyelid lesions, various laser procedures, and the medical management of common eye conditions including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, dry eyes, and macular degeneration. Dr. Lee is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Edwin W. Gannon III, M.D
Edwin W. (Wyn) Gannon III, MD, a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, completed an Ophthalmology residency at the Hamilton Eye Institute of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. His practice concentration is cataract and refractive surgery, but he also offers medical retina, cornea and glaucoma treatment.
A native of Chattanooga, Dr. Gannon received his baccalaureate degree with a Major in Biology from the Middle Tennessee State University and received his MD degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is the recipient of several academic scholarships and has published several scholarly articles. He is involved with domestic and international Ophthalmology outreach programs.
